Tate Modern

Bankside, London SE1 9TG

The Tate Modern opened when I was a teen and it was my first taste of contemporary art. I remember my first visit. There was a huge fake sun in the turbine hall and I spent hours on my back gazing at it. Since that first visit I have gone back time and time again and I still get the same sense of awe stepping into the turbine hall. Whatever is on, the building and the way it is arranged, help showcase the best that contemporary art has to offer. I look forward to spending many more happy hours there.
